This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid Equipmeter subscriptions. We want the Service to be a good fit for your team, so please reach out if anything isn’t working as expected — we’re happy to help before it comes to a refund.
Payments and refunds are handled by Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method, and your purchase is subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions in addition to this policy.
01Free plan
Equipmeter offers a free plan so you can evaluate the Service at no cost and with no payment details. We encourage you to try it before subscribing to a paid plan.
02Subscriptions and renewals
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) on a per-seat basis. Unless cancelled, your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period using your payment method on file.
03Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals: you keep access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period, and you are not charged again after that. We do not automatically prorate or refund the unused portion of a billing period that has already started, except where required by law or as described below.
04Refunds
If you believe you are entitled to a refund — for example, you were charged in error, billed twice, or experienced a significant problem with the Service — contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request in good faith. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- billing periods that have already been substantially used;
- seats or add-ons that were used during the period;
- change of mind after extended use of a paid plan; or
- failure to cancel before an automatic renewal, except where required by law.
05Your statutory rights (EU/EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For digital services that begin immediately, this right may end once the service has been fully performed with your prior consent, or may be reduced proportionally to use. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.
06How to request a refund or cancel
Email info@equipmeter.ee with your account email and the charge in question, or use the billing options in your account. For billing-specific enquiries you may also contact Paddle, our Merchant of Record, whose details appear on your purchase receipt.
